I followed a watercolour reveal tutorial for After Effects on YouTube by the vlogger VinhSon Nguyen, which shows you how to use an ink splat effect (downloaded from http://creativedojo.net/store) to create an opening transition/reveal of an image or video. I practiced just with an image this time, but it has given me an interesting visual option to use for the opening of my animation possibly. The picture I used was one of a lion which I painted nearly a year ago on Photoshop, while following an Aaron Blaise YouTube tutorial.
