Various Disney Princesses Character Designs

This was a great find: a collection of all the famous Disney Princesses, and a display of all the iterations of their characters as they went through the development stages. It's clear to see how the vision of the designer stayed focussed in a few of these examples, and the look of the character doesn't change much from first sketch to final finished product. In some of the princesses though, you can see that the designer worked through a few different ideas and forms before settling on a final version. (I'm not sure if the concept pictures appear chronologically in order or not)

One of my favorites to look at is probably Pocahontas, because her design changed so much with each stage of the character's development. The iconic princess who we recognise now could possibly have looked so much different if the animator had gone a different route or settled for one of her previous versions.
