The Making of Glen Keane's 'Duet'

The video starts with the beginning of the film itself, but shown with the original frame by frame drawings, played in actual time. Then it zooms out to show the drawn cartoon figures on a 3D plane, and how they are positioned relative to the audience's view.
It cuts to Keane's own studio, with a voiceover from himself as he works. His words are combined with those of the technical project lead, Rachid el Guerrab. It's so interesting to hear him describe the technical process of combining hand drawn animation and CG technology. I love how they describe Glen as a 'renderring engine.'
