So I sketched out very roughly on my notepad a manga-stylized drawing of myself. I gave myself larger eyes, a smaller nose and a very angled jawline. I scanned the image into PhotoShop and coloured it in using my Wacom tablet. I used the brush tool with a semi-opaque colour to add a bit of life to it without making it too vibrant, and I went over the linework in grey while still keeping most of the roughwork visible. You can see some of the bits that I've erased from the difference in background colour next to my face.
I also did this one of my housemate Tracy, in the same style again. It's just a shitty iPhone picture (for now) but hopefully I will be able to scan it and colour it soon!
