It will not allow me to directly embed the video through Blogger, so I have included the above stills from the stop-motion cut-out animation 'The Warrior' by Grace Manning and Georgia Akbar. I think the illustration is stunning, and the rich purples and blues of the paper look beautiful and sumptuous. I am usually not particularly a fan of this style of animation, but this one is certainly an exception. I would love to create something so beautiful but I don't think that i will experiment with this style for my own project, as I would prefer to do something digitally and learn frame-by-frame animation techniques.
